The shareholders’ meeting approved the budget the Sai for 2001, which ended with a net profit of 120.3 million euros, against 48.3 mln reported in 2000. Contextually was considered the distribution of a dividend of 0.4 euros for ordinary and 0.4414 for savings, payment by next May 23. The shareholders also renewed the authorization for the buyback of both ordinary and savings of up to a maximum of 75 million euros, while withdrawing the previous acts by the unused portion. The assembly then renewed the authorization to purchase shares of the parent Premafin to a maximum of 30 million euros. The Director General of Sai, Fausto Marchionni, has been appointed new administrator.
