A consortium composed of the U.S. Arrow Electronics and Avnet and English Schroder Ventures has launched a bid of 2.5 billion dollars to acquire the electronics division of Germany’s Veba. The aim of the three companies involved in the consortium is to divide the assets held by Veba should the offer be accepted.
